- Classroom Teachers
(Note: Classroom teachers will have to teach all subjects except Physical Education)
Teaching position:
- Must have an undergraduate degree in any of the following subjects:
English, History, Geography, Psychology, Music, Social Studies, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Physical Education & Visual Arts
- Must have Bachelor of Education Degree or equivalent teaching degree.
- Kindergarten teacher: Major degree in early childhood education is preferred.
- The term of the degree must be 4 years.
Essential qualification/Requirement
Strong communication skills in English (Oral, Written and grammatically correct). Candidates must have good classroom management and discipline management skills.
Candidates with experience should reflect job stability.
Good attitude & flexible to take up new tasks.
- Should be committed teachers and willing to learn.
- Should be tech savvy.
- Understand that the school expects lesson plans to be created and reviewed with administrators before delivery to students.
- Have a desire to participate in school improvement planning and activities.
- Have the desire and skill to plan and present solutions rather than merely express problems.
- Having a positive attitude towards students and school expectations.
- Cultural competence: Ability to understand, communicate with and effectively interact with people across cultures
Degrees not accepted in Kuwait: Political Science, Criminology, Commerce, Law, Medicine, Business Administration, distance education degrees and 1 to 3 years diplomas.

Free transportation will be provided by CBS to and from school, for teaching staff staying in the CBS apartments. For this, Admin. department has set times for pick up at apartment buildings and for return to the apartment after school. This is applicable for all events set by the school.

Note:
- Health Insurance – School Policy:
Teachers are encouraged to purchase Travel / Health Insurance before they travel to Kuwait as it takes some time to complete the Kuwait residence formalities, before they become eligible to apply for the insurance mandated by the Kuwait Government.
The school will not be responsible for any medical claims during the time frame required to complete the Kuwait residence formalities. Typically, the residence formalities take about 3 months to complete after arrival in Kuwait.
- No pay during orientation week:
New Staff is expected to join one week before the school reopens for orientation. There will be no pay during the orientation week.
- Probation period: Probation period is 60 days from the date of joining.
- Employment Expenses:
All the expenses in the home country, for the employment in Kuwait should be borne by the candidate. This includes the Medical Report, Criminal Record Check, Authentication of degree, certificates, stamping of documents in Embassy of Kuwait and Foreign affairs etc.
Candidates must have grade 10 to 12 transcripts along with all the degrees and transcripts.
